Derek Schiller, who has headed the Braves' marketingt and sales for the past three and a half has signeda multi-year contract extension and was promoted to executive vice president of sales and marketing. Schiller oversees the management ofticket sales, corporats sales, broadcasting, licensing and merchandising, community relationa and the overall marketing strategy for the ball He also manages the Braves televisioh relationships with Turner FSN South and SportsSouth and the team's radil relationship with Clear Channel Radio that includesa 150 affiliates across the Southeast.
"Derek has been a valuable asset tothe Braves, completely rebuildin g the business side of our organization, whicn has seen growth in attendance, sponsorships and community outreach undet his leadership," said Terry McGuirk, Bravesd chairman, president and CEO. "Azs a key member of our executive management structure I look forward to hiscontinuecd contributions." Schiller joined the Braves after a stintf as vice president of sales and marketing for the hockeyg team. Prior, he was vice president of businessz development for thefrom 1996-97.
